Course Description

SOX compliance and the necessity to be accurate in reporting makes this area critical. The first thing you determine is what are the job functions that are performed in these areas. Once you understand that, you need to start thinking about what are the indicators that tell what they're doing is either incorrect or not being done. This is the beginning of the risk assessment that you need to apply to these areas.  This will guide you to a highly effective conclusion relative to their functionality. Major issues of concern that exist will be identified in the risk assessment approach and will lead to a more effective audit of the environment.
